Dakota Memorial Park

Dakota Memorial Park is a large 7-acres of flat open fields with a gravel walking trails located within the Pacific Community Park in NE Vancouver.

Park Rules

  • Dogs must be leashed at all times outside the dog parks. It’s the law!
  • Keep your dog vaccinated and licensed. It’s the law!
  • Keep dogs away from gates when others are entering or exiting.
  • Aggressive dogs, intact males, and females in heat are not permitted.
  • Pick up poop and adopt orphan poop, we all miss one occasionally.
  • No on-leash dogs. It can cause aggressive behavior.
  • Do not let dogs dig holes - fill all holes your dog digs.
  • Supervise children - running/screaming children can trigger a dog’s prey instinct.
  • Keep walking - this keeps the park neutral territory.
  • Choke, prong, spike collars are not allowed for safety.

Ike Memorial Park

Formerly known as Ross, this is DOGPAW’s flagship dog park. Located next to the BPA Ross Substation this site is almost 12 acres of open fields and hills. The Park entrance is located at the NE 15th St Entrance in the lower section of the park. The upper NE 18th St entrance is for handicapped users only.

Kane Memorial Park

Kane Memorial Park is a 4-acre park with open rustic terrain and forested areas. Located in Hockinson Meadows Park, dog owners must walk their leashed dogs from the parking lot to this long-term temporary area.

Lucky Memorial Park

Lucky Memorial Park is 4.5 acres of flat open fields with lots of space to run, jump, and fetch. This park is located near the Lauretta Noreen Forest Preserve that has walking trails for leashed dogs and their owners.

As a unique feature of this park, the Lauretta Noreen Forest Preserve can be accessed by walking through the main dog park area and out through the southwest gate. The Preserve has forest walking trails for leashed dogs and their owners. Visitors to the Preserve must NOT DRIVE OR WALK to the Preserve on the private road next to the dog park. The Preserve is accessible ONLY through the dog park at this time.
